Hi

I wondered how the recent show in Las Vegas went. Will there be any feedback, photos on the site? Wish I could have been there.
Kind regards from sunny England,
Tony

Don, Thank you so much for the performance at VLV 10. My favortie song ever recorded is "make like a rock and roll". I told my wife, I would give anything to see don woody perform that cut live. And when I saw that your name was listed for VLV 10, I just coldn't belive it. You truely were THE highlight this year for me at VLV. Thanks again!!

Thanks for coming out to Viva Las Vegas Don. Love the songs and now I can add them to my library of music. I hope you had a good time playing for us rock and roll fans.

Hi Don--This is from Tom Galbraith--most called me "Red" when I was at SMS (Now Missouri State University). I used to see you on campus and around the college hangouts and some of the guys I ran around with used to come down to the KICK studio when you were on the air. I made some demo recordings with you in a little garage studio over off Glenstone Ave. in Springfield. Speedy Haworth played guitar and I played electric bass. Nice to see your website.

Regards, Tom

Hi

Many thanks for the wonderful site on Don Woody. Such a tribute is long overdue. I recall many moons ago now a friend and myself playing rock n roll and discussing who we liked etc. He said, have you heard Don Woody? He played some tracks and I was knocked out by them. I have been playing them ever since. They remain some of my all time favourites. Great to see you coming back to the stage Don. Just wish I could be there to see you. keep Rockin'.

best wishes

Tony Bradley (Here in Sunny England)

Howdy Don,

Glad to find your interview in the french magazine "Rock and Roll Revue" N°38. That interview came at the same time than my paper about the late great Charline Arthur. I first heard your Decca work around 1977 and i have written my paper about Charline in 1988. So, even if so many told me, through the years, i was barking on the wrong tree talkin' about vintage Rockabilly performers, it happened. For sure, we had not written those paper using "morse code" but simply Windows "Words". Times are a changing but we are still rockin' on your great recordings. if you want to talk just "Ring my phone" on "Bigelow 6-2000" and ask about "Bird dog"!
